Bob is extremely proud and excited to be the new head golf professional at H. Smith Richardson. Bob was elected to PGA class A membership in 1998. He has spent the last twenty plus years honing his teaching/coaching craft at some of the New York Metropolitan areas finest clubs including Westchester Country Club, Country  Club of Fairfield and most recently as the lead instructor of the Michael Breed golf academy.  Bob’s passion for the game can easily be felt by all his students by the high energy and enthusiastic lessons he gives.  He strives to create the best atmosphere for learning possible and every level player is comfortable in his presence.  He uniquely combines the latest technologies with good old fashion golf fundamentals.  A lifetime learner who is constantly looking for the best way to communicate golf lessons to all the golfers he meets.  Come take a lesson with Coach Bigs and make your game the best it can be.

Tom is a Certified Professional and a Class A-1 member of the PGA of America who wears many different hats in the business and is a great ambassador to the game.  Along with his full time responsibilities as Head Golf Professional of the Round Hill Club in Greenwich CT, a position he has held for 33 years, Tom has a resume that boasts a number of exceptional career achievements.

A Nike Golf Elite Swoosh Member, Master Club Fitter, US Kids Certified Junior Golf Instructor, and the first professional in the country to achieve PGA Certification in Player Development in 2013 are only just a few to mention.  He is especially proud of his many years serving on the National PGA Instruction Committee where he co-chaired the 2013 Teaching & Coaching Summit.  Tom served on the PGA Board of Control from 2014-2016 and recently concluded a four year term on the PGA Board of Directors.  He has recently been ranked as the #1 golf instructor in the state of Connecticut by Golf Digest for 2019-2020.

As a multiple award recipient in the Metropolitan PGA, it is easy to see why Tom, and his love of knowledge and the game, has been recognized by his peers by being named the 2015 National PGA Professional of the Year.
